I admire and consider Dr Boopathy Vijayaraghavan sir as my role model for shaping my career and inculcating the concept of a protocol based approach in fetal scans minimising the possibility of errors. Dr. Boopathy Vijayaraghavan sir is one of pioneers in fetal ultrasound in India. His teachings and techniques simplify the complexities of fetal radiology. Even today whenever i come across any anomaly in fetal abdomen i refer to his book - Atlas of Fetal Imaging- abdomen. I really feel honoured to be mentored under him in Sonoscan .
Dr. Boopathy Vijayaraghavan sir has changed my perspective and orientation towards USG scanning both in obstretic and general radiology. He is one of few personalities in my career who shaped my scanning technique and I definitely owe it to him! I am glad and lucky to have worked under him !!
